Description

Chess is a classic abstract strategy board game for two players. Played on an 8×8 checkered board, each player commands an army of sixteen pieces—a king, queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns—each with unique movement capabilities. The objective is to strategically maneuver one’s pieces to deliver an inescapable attack, known as “checkmate,” on the opponent’s king, while simultaneously defending one’s own king from capture. The game demands profound tactical awareness, long-term planning, and the ability to anticipate multiple moves ahead, making every decision crucial in the complex battle of wits.

The Lidia thinks:

Will I ever stop blundering my queen?
