Description
Gobblet Gobblers is a simple yet clever abstract strategy game for two players, often described as a more advanced version of Tic-Tac-Toe. Played on a 3×3 grid, each player has a set of nesting wooden “gobblers” in three sizes. On a turn, a player can either place a new gobbler onto an empty space on the board or move an existing gobbler to a new space. The unique twist is that larger gobblers can be placed on top of and “gobble” smaller gobblers, hiding them from view. The goal is to be the first to get three of your gobblers in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally). The nesting mechanic adds a layer of memory and deception, as a player might move a large gobbler to reveal a smaller one underneath, turning the tide of the game in an instant.
The Marco thinks:
Simply a Tic-Tac-Toe with some twists. Perfect if you want to decompress after an intense nerdy session or a heavy day at work.
