Description
Sky Team is a strictly two-player cooperative board game where one player acts as the pilot and the other as the co-pilot, working together to silently land an airliner. Players take turns rolling and secretly assigning their dice to various controls on a shared cockpit panel, managing critical aspects like the plane’s axis (tilt), speed, flaps, landing gear, and communication with the control tower. The challenge comes from the extremely limited communication, as players cannot talk once dice are rolled for the round, forcing them to deduce their partner’s intentions and needs based solely on their die placements. With a series of increasingly complex scenarios based on real-world airports, Sky Team offers a tense and highly rewarding puzzle, requiring precise coordination and strategic thinking to avoid crashing and successfully complete the landing.
The Marco thinks:
This is a great game for when you want to play with your partner. The unique idea of working together to land a plane is very original and well-represented. After a first game to get the hang of the rules, the short playtime makes it easy to play multiple rounds.
The Lidia thinks:
Took me a few tries to learn this game, and while I’m still not an expert at it, playing this game with the Marco is quite enjoyable.
