Welcome! You’ve arrived at our board game café, the perfect spot for fun and games right in the center of Gothenburg. Find us at Chalmersgatan 19.

We’re open Wednesday to Friday from 17:00 to 22:00, and Saturday and Sunday from 14:00 to 22:00. Feel free to play our games, or you’re more than welcome to bring your own board games and play whatever you like!

Everdell is a beautiful, charming board game where players deploy cute forest creatures to gather resources and construct a city over four seasons. It blends worker placement with clever card-combo strategy, making it a highly engaging experience that is easy to learn but offers plenty of depth. This is a guided workshop, and The Marco will take your table through the game. He will explain the setup, turn structure, and all key rules clearly and concisely. He will also guide you through the game explaining the basics and then adding details while playing. You will learn not just how to play, but how to play well. The Marco will share fundamental strategies and common pitfalls to avoid. After the lesson, you'll dive into a complete game where you can apply what you've learned. After the game is over, you are more than welcome to keep playing or pick other games on hand. From ancient civilizations to modern events, this quiz will take you across time and around the globe. We’ll have 50 multiple-choice questions, covering a mix of eras and topics—perfect for both casual players and history buffs. Come solo or with friends—you can form teams of up to 4 players per team when you arrive. Small prizes for 1st and 2nd place teams (and maybe 3rd place prize if we have a big turnout!) See you here!	13 Indie Game Playtest - Inkfish Island 13 June, 2026 🕕 14:30 - 19:30 💲55 kr (Included in the Silver Pass) We're excited to host Magnus Lundqvist, the designer of Inkfish Island, who will be visiting Offline Café to playtest his prototype board game and gather feedback from players. In Inkfish Island, you and your mortal enemy are stranded together on a deserted island, competing to survive harsh weather, manage scarce resources, and outmaneuver one another. This strategic worker-placement game combines resource management, crafting, and player interaction with a surprisingly whimsical sense of humor. Magnus will be at the café from 14:30 to 19:30 and is hoping to meet as many different players as possible throughout the day. He will have three prototype copies of the game available and will be on hand to explain the rules, guide play sessions, and answer questions. Whether you're an experienced gamer or simply curious about trying a game in development, we'd love to have you join us! Please note that the standard 55 kr game pass will apply for participation.
